ImpactHead coach Pete DeBoer said that Jani Hakanpaa (upper body) returning was the only change among his skaters from the group that lost 3-2 in overtime to the Islanders on Monday. Lundkvist will be out for his seventh straight game, but there's a sense he's getting close to being available. The Stars are back home Thursday versus the Jets.

Jani Hakanpaa - Set to returnHakanpaa (upper body) is expected to return to the lineup Tuesday versus the Avalanche, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.

ImpactDerrick Pouliot was reassigned to AHL Texas earlier Tuesday, clearing out a spot in the lineup for Hakanpaa. Look for Hakanpaa to play on the second pairing as a physical and defensive presence. He had two assists over his first six games in February prior to the injury.

ImpactPouliot has picked up five shots on goal, five blocked shots and four hits in five NHL appearances this season. His return to the minors suggests that the Stars could get back Jani Hakanpaa (upper body) or Nils Lundkvist (concussion) for Tuesday's matchup versus Colorado.

Horvat came into the contest with just one goal and two points in his previous six games. He's up to 50 points (23 goals, 27 assists) through 57 games this season.

ImpactPulock opened the scoring late in the first period, beating Scott Wedgewood with a wrister to put the Islanders ahead 1-0. The 29-year-old blueliner would add another point in the second, setting up a Kyle MacLean tally. It's the first multi-point game of the year for Pulock, who had just one goal and two points in eight games since returning from IR. He's up to 10 points (four goals, six assists) with 91 blocked shots and 68 hits through 34 games this season.
