Riley Tufte - Elevated from minorsTufte was promoted from AHL Texas on Wednesday.
ImpactTufte's promotion could be an indication that Joe Pavelski (undisclosed) won't be ready to face Minnesota in Wednesday's Game 2 matchup. For his part, the 25-year-old Tufte has played in just three NHL contests this season, nothing one shot, six hits and a minus-1 rating while averaging 7:57 of ice time. Even with his call-up, Tufte may not crack the lineup versus the Wild, with Joel Kiviranta or Fredrik Olofsson more likely to slot into the lineup.

Sammy Walker - Ascends to top levelWalker was recalled by the Wild on Wednesday.
ImpactAlthough he's been promoted, at this point Walker isn't expected to draw into the lineup for Wednesday's Game 2 versus Dallas. The 23-year-old rookie has picked up two points through nine top-level appearances this season.

Joe Pavelski - In concussion protocolPavelski is in the NHL's concussion protocol and won't be available for Wednesday's Game 2 versus the Wild, Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
ImpactPavelski had to be helped to the locker room after slamming his head on the ice after taking a huge hit from Minnesota's Matt Dumba during Monday's Game 1 loss, so this news doesn't really come as a surprise. Although at this point he's only officially been ruled out of Game 2, it wouldn't be surprising to see Pavelski miss extended action with his injury. With Pavelski unavailable, Joel Kiviranta is expected to draw into the lineup Wednesday.

John Klingberg - Sidelined for Game 2Klingberg (lower body) isn't expected to play in Wednesday's Game 2 versus the Stars, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
ImpactWith Klingberg set to miss a second straight contest, look for Jon Merrill to remain paired with rookie Brock Faber on Wednesday. Klingberg, who's picked up nine points through 17 games since being traded to the Wild at the deadline, will be reevaluated ahead of Friday's Game 3 against Dallas.
APRIL 19, 2023ROTOWIRE
Ryan Hartman - Won't play WednesdayHartman (lower body) won't play in Wednesday's Game 2 versus the Stars.
ImpactHartman scored the game-winning goal in double-overtime to seal the Wild's Game 1 win, but he'll be out just two days later. The 28-year-old can be considered day-to-day for now.
APRIL 19, 2023ROTOWIRE
Marc-Andre Fleury - Tending twine in Game 2Fleury will guard the road goal in Wednesday's Game 2 versus the Stars, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
ImpactFilip Gustavsson was excellent in a double-overtime win in Game 1, but he'll give way to Fleury this time. It's not totally surprising, as the Wild alternated goalies for much of the season, but Gustavsson started three of the last four regular-season games as Fleury struggled with a three-game losing streak down the stretch. Fleury will look to shake off the rust, and a win Wednesday would send the Wild home ahead 2-0 in the first-round series.

Joel Eriksson Ek - Unavailable for Game 2Eriksson Ek (lower body) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's Game 2 versus the Stars, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
ImpactEriksson Ek will miss his sixth straight game with the injury. With Ryan Hartman (lower body) also out, Matthew Boldy will move to center and Oskar Sundqvist (lower body) will rejoin the lineup.
