Casey DeSmith - In goal for Game 3DeSmith will start Game 3 on the road versus the Predators on Friday, Robby Stanley of NHL.com reports.
ImpactDeSmith is now the Canucks' top goalie since Thatcher Demko (undisclosed) is considered week-to-week. DeSmith struggled in Game 2 on Tuesday, allowing three goals on 15 shots in a 4-1 loss. The 32-year-old will need a bit more goal support from his team, as well as a better performance between the pipes, if the Canucks are going to regain a series lead.

Thatcher Demko - Is week-to-weekDemko is regarded as week-to-week, coach Rick Tocchet told Thomas Drance of The Athletic on Wednesday.
ImpactDemko was a key part of the Canucks' regular-season success, posting a 35-14-2 record, 2.45 GAA and .918 save percentage in 51 contests. He also stopped 20 of 22 shots en route to a 4-2 victory over the Predators in Game 1 on Sunday. The Canucks will likely lean on Casey DeSmith during Demko's absence.

ImpactMyers had been rolling offensively prior to falling ill, recording five points in his last six games, including a short-handed goal. Without Myers in the lineup, Noah Juulsen stepped onto the blue line and likely will continue to fill in for Myers if he remains unavailable for Game 3 on Friday.
