Mika Zibanejad - Two-point effort TuesdayZibanejad produced a power-play goal and a shorthanded assist Tuesday in Game 2's 4-3 win over the Capitals.
ImpactAfter finding the back of the net in the first period, Zibanejad helped set up K'Andre Miller for what proved to be the game-winner late in the second. Zibanejad has an eight-game point streak going extended back to the end of the regular season, and through two postseason contests he's collected a goal and three points. He'll look to keep rolling on the road Friday in Game 3.

Vincent Trocheck - Two points in Game 2Trocheck scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist during Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Capitals in Game 2 of the Rangers' first-round series.
ImpactBoth points came in the first period as the Rangers jumped out to an early 2-1 lead. Trocheck posted a career-high 77 points in the regular season, and he's stayed hot with a goal and three points through the first two games of the playoffs.

Igor Shesterkin - Hangs on for Game 2 winShesterkin stopped 22 shots Tuesday during a 4-3 win over the Capitals in Game 2 of the Rangers' first-round series.
ImpactThe Caps only beat Shesterkin at even strength once on the night, as their last two tallies came on power plays. The 28-year-old netminder has allowed four goals on 46 shots to help the Rangers build a 2-0 series lead, and dating back to late March he hasn't given up more than three goals in any of his last nine starts, posting a 2.09 GAA and .921 save percentage over that stretch. Shesterkin will look to stay locked in as the series shifts to Washington for Game 3 on Friday.

ImpactThe veteran winger has been one of the few players making a consistent impact for the Capitals as they face the prospect of having to come back from a two-game deficit against the team with the best record in the NHL during the regular season. Wilson has a goal and three points with six hits and 12 PIM heading into Game 3 on Friday back in Washington.
