Connor McDavid - Scores in losing effortMcDavid tried to will the Oilers to a win Sunday, but his goal and four shots weren't enough. Vegas won 5-2, advancing to the Western Conference Final.
ImpactMcDavid has been one of the biggest stars of the postseason. He was held without a point in just two games. In the other 10 games, he was electric, posting eight goals and 20 points. He has been as good as advertised, but the potential MVP will have to try again next year.

Jonathan Marchessault - Pots a hat trick in clinching winMarchessault scored three times in the second period as the Golden Knights eliminated the Oilers 5-2 on Sunday.
ImpactDespite scoring 28 goals in 76 games this season, Marchessault has been relatively quiet this postseason. He scored two goals in Game 3 against Edmonton, but that is the only game he had scored in this postseason. However, after Sunday's hat trick, he has five goals and three assists in his last four games. It could be a turning point as he builds momentum heading into the Western Conference Final.

Reilly Smith - Opens scoring in big winSmith scored just seconds into Sunday's game, getting things rolling as the Golden Knights rallied to a 5-2 win over the Oilers.
ImpactSmith has been a huge playoff contributor for the Golden Knights in previous years. That hasn't been the case as much this season. Sunday's goal was just his second through 11 postseason contests. He has a total of seven points through those games along with 27 shots. The positive is that Smith has the ability to go on a run, and he has now scored in back-to-back games.

Warren Foegele - Scores in lossFoegele tallied a goal during Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Golden Knights, ending the Oilers' season.
ImpactFoegele scored twice in the last four games of the series. It was a decent run for the depth winger. He also has six PIM and 10 shots during that run. However, his minutes have been as low as 9:24, hovering around 12 minutes most nights. The production was nice, but it is hard to rely on a winger who is playing so few minutes and has a career-high of 13 regular-season goals.

Ivan Barbashev - Assists twice in winBarbashev assisted on two of Jonathan Marchessault's three goals as the Golden Knights beat the Oilers 5-2 on Sunday, clinching a spot in the Western Conference Finals.
ImpactBarbashev has provided consistent depth value this postseason. He has nine points in 11 games with points in six of those games. His ice time has been middling, dipping as low as 12:15. Still, the big winger has provided value.
