Impact Giroux remains stuck in a 13-game goal drought and has managed just two assists in his last eight outings while generating seven shots. It's a far cry from his eight-game point streak coming out of the All-Star break. Despite the decrease in productivity, Giroux shouldn't be in danger of losing either his top-six or power-play role.

Drake Batherson - Scores in overtime Batherson found the back of the net in a 2-1 overtime win over Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
Impact It looked like Batherson and the Senators were going to get a shutout win in regulation until the Penguins were able to squeeze one in the back of the net with 23 seconds left. Batherson was not fazed and proceeded to end the game with an overtime goal to snap the seven-game losing skid by Ottawa. For the five games in the month of March, Batherson now has three goals and an assist to go along with 16 shots on goal and nine hits. The 25-year old winger may be a solid fantasy option, especially for teams needing help in goals and peripheral categories like shots and hits.

Jake Sanderson - Produces two points in overtime win Sanderson registered a goal and an assist in the 2-1 overtime win over the Penguins on Tuesday.
Impact It was a goaltending duel between Joonas Korpisalo and Tristan Jarry until Sanderson broke the goose egg halfway in the third period. He provided a secondary assist in overtime to snap a seven-game losing skid for Ottawa. The 2020 first-round draft pick finished with four shots and a plus-2 rating in 23:02 of ice time to go along with his two points. Sanderson is now on a modest three-game point streak, scoring one goal and three assists over that span. The 21-year old defenseman may eventually be a star but right now he is only averaging half-a-point a game on the season.

Joonas Korpisalo - Gets overtime win Korpisalo kicked out 34 of 35 shots in a 2-1 overtime win over the Penguins on Tuesday.
Impact It was a goaltending duel all game between Korpisalo and Tristan Jarry as they faced and turned aside a barrage of shots until the third period when the goose egg was broken by Jake Sanderson. The first shutout of the season looked destined for Korpisalo until the Penguins scored with only 23 seconds left with an extra attacker to put the game into overtime. Ultimately, Korpisalo got the last laugh as they were able to put Pittsburgh away and get the win. It was a huge win for the 29-year old netminder as it was the first one since Feb. 10. Korpisalo looks to have taken over the No. 1 job as this is his third start in a row but fantasy managers may want to look elsewhere as the Senators had lost seven in a row prior to this game.
