Impact Myers has been a healthy scratch in 17 of Toronto's 18 games to date. He will get in some much needed playing time with the Marlies as they play six times over the next 14 days.

Impact Myers was a healthy scratch the first eight games of the season, and will draw into the lineup in Boston, alongside Simon Benoit. Myers has seen action in parts of six seasons in the NHL. His most recent time was last season, when he played five games with nary a point, for the Lightning.

Myers will probably spend most, if not all, of 2024-25 in the minors after getting a look at Toronto's training camp.

Impact Myers' promotion would seem to indicate that Victor Hedman (undisclosed) will not be ready to play versus Vancouver on Tuesday. Even with Myers' joining the big club, he is unlikely to unseat Hayden Fleury or Nick Perbix for a spot in the lineup and figures to serve as an emergency depth option during the Bolts' three-game Canadian road trip.
