Marc Staal - Still out Wednesday Staal (upper body) was at practice Tuesday but won't be an option to face Carolina on Wednesday, Sam Carchidi of Philly Hockey Now reports.
Impact Staal has missed the Flyers' last 11 contests, so he can be activated off injured reserve at any point. Even prior to his absence, the veteran blueliner was pointless through four games during which he managed just three shots. As such, few fantasy players figure to be impacted even once Staal is cleared to play.

Carter Hart - Ready to rock Hart (illness) told Adam Kimelman of NHL.com on Tuesday that he is healthy and ready to return to the lineup ahead of Wednesday's road contest versus Carolina.
Impact Philadelphia hasn't officially named a starter yet for Wednesday's contest, but if Hart plays it will be his first appearance since leaving a 5-2 loss to Buffalo on Nov. 1. Hart missed three games with a mid-body injury before sitting out the past two contest due to food poisoning. He has a 4-3-0 record this campaign with a 2.52 GAA and a .913 save percentage over eight games played.

Impact Petersen is coming off a 35-save win over the Kings on Saturday but that won't change the fact that he is headed to the minors. The decision to demote Petersen could be an indication that Carter Hart (illness) will be ready to at least serve as the backup versus Carolina on Wednesday, though Petersen could be recalled ahead of that contest if needed.
