Samuel Ersson - Will be sent down Ersson will be sent down to AHL Lehigh Valley following Saturday's 7-0 loss to the Devils, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Impact Ersson was in goal for all seven tallies, which gave him the first loss of his career in humbling fashion. The Flyers are off until Wednesday, and head coach John Tortorella made it sound like Ersson could be back with the big club in time for that game versus the Rangers.

Travis Konecny - Placed on IR Konecny (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, per Bill Meltzer of NHL.com.

Impact Saturday's game in New Jersey will be the third contest Konecny has missed since suffering the injury Monday against Calgary. The 25-year-old forward has had another strong season with 27 goals (a career high) and 27 assists through 52 games. Kieffer Bellows or Elliot Desnoyers could enter the lineup while Konecny is out, with Olle Lycksell moving up to a line with Kevin Hayes and Joel Farabee.

Impact Van Riemsdyk is a little "banged up," according to coach John Tortorella, so he will miss at least one contest. He has recorded nine goals, 23 points an 81 shots on net in 40 contests this campaign. Impact Desnoyers had 19 goals and 17 assists in 48 games with Lehigh Valley, his first season as a professional. The 21-year-old has been red-hot of late, with five goals and 13 points in his last seven games, including two goals and six points in his last two contests.
