Bobby Brink - Pockets power-play helper Brink logged a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Canucks.
Impact Brink had the secondary helper on Tyson Foerster's first-period tally. The 23-year-old Brink is entering his second full season after putting up 23 points and 81 shots on net over 57 games as a rookie in 2023-24. He was given a third-line assignment for Friday's season opener, but a hot start on offense could help him earn a top-six job down the line.

Impact Farabee managed a career-high 50 points in 82 games last season, but he begins 2024-25 in a third-line role. He's still a factor on the power play, which will give him additional opportunities for offense. Farabee stands to gain if head coach John Tortorella shuffles the lines, as he could find himself in the top six. Fantasy managers in deeper formats can roster Farabee now, but those in standard leagues will want to wait and see how his usage develops.

Cam York - Nets equalizer Friday York scored a goal and added two PIM in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Canucks.
Impact York's goal early in the third period was enough to force overtime. The 23-year-old defenseman produced 10 goals, 20 assists, 174 blocked shots and 134 shots on goal over 82 games in 2023-24, but his production was bolstered by averaging 2:05 per contest with the man advantage. He's not on a power-play unit to begin this season, but that could change if Egor Zamula or Jamie Drysdale struggle. Still, York's fantasy upside is capped if he doesn't get more favorable assignments for offense.

Tyson Foerster - Strikes for power-play goal Foerster scored a power-play goal on four shots in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Canucks.
Impact Foerster had the Flyers' first goal of the season, tallying at 17:24 of the first period to tie the game at 1-1. The winger was decent as a rookie in 2023-24 with 20 goals, 13 assists, 167 shots on net and 101 hits over 77 appearances. He's beginning this season in a top-six role, and while head coach John Tortorella often shuffles his lines, Foerster should still be a key player throughout the campaign.

Samuel Ersson - Picks up shootout win Ersson allowed two goals on 26 shots in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Canucks.
Impact Ersson got the nod in the Flyers' season opener, and he delivered a good performance. The Canucks' first goal came off a bad turnover, but the Flyers were twice erase a deficit before Morgan Frost and Travis Konecny lifted them to victory in the shootout. In 2023-24, Ersson went 23-19-7 with a 2.82 GAA and an .890 save percentage, though his numbers were skewed by a late fade. The 24-year-old should be better prepared for the rigors of a full season this year, though he'll also face competition from Ivan Fedotov for the No. 1 job in goal. Fedotov is expected to play Saturday in Calgary.

Samuel Ersson - Set to start Friday Head coach John Tortorella said before Friday's road game against Vancouver that Ersson will serve as the Flyers' starting goalie.
