Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen out three months after triceps surgery Ristolainen missed the final 29 games of the year with what was previously labeled an "upper-body" injury.

Rasmus Ristolainen - Underwent surgery Ristolainen underwent surgery for a ruptured triceps tendon, the team announced Thursday. He is expected to be fine for the start of training camp.

Impact Ristolainen didn't play past Feb. 10 due to the injury. He finished the campaign with a goal, four points, 56 hits and 45 blocks in 31 appearances in 2023-24. Although Ristolainen comes with a $5.1 million cap hit through 2026-27, he might start 2024-25 on the third pairing after averaging just 16:41 of ice time this season.

Adam Ginning - Moved to minors Ginning will report to AHL Lehigh Valley, the team announced Wednesday.

Impact Ginning scored a goal in nine appearances with the Flyers in 2023-24. He also has two goals, 13 points and 82 PIM in 56 contests with Lehigh Valley. The 24-year-old forward will fight for a bottom-six roster spot with the Flyers during training camp.

Ronnie Attard - Will report to AHL Attard was moved to AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.

Impact Attard registered two assists in 12 appearances with the Flyers this year. He also has appeared in 46 outings with Lehigh Valley, collecting 10 goals and 25 points in that span. The 25-year-old might not be able to make the 2024-25 NHL roster out of training camp, but even if he falls short of that mark, Attard is likely to see time with the Flyers at various points during the campaign as an injury replacement.

Olle Lycksell - Returns to minors Lycksell was reassigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.

Impact Lycksell supplied a goal and five points in 18 appearances with the Flyers in 2023-24. He also has 19 goals and 38 points in 36 outings with Lehigh Valley. Philadelphia's season is over, but Lycksell will link back up with the team for training camp to compete for a bottom-six roster spot.

Bobby Brink - Heads to AHL Brink was sent to AHL Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.

Impact Brink had 11 goals and 23 points in 57 contests with the Flyers this season. Now that Philadelphia's campaign is over, the 22-year-old will help Lehigh Valley. He has provided six goals and 11 points in 11 appearances with the minor-league club in 2023-24.

Impact Rizzo had 10 goals and 44 points in 30 NCAA contests with the University of Denver in 2023-24. He was originally selected by Carolina with the No. 216 pick in the 2019 NHL Draft but was acquired by the Flyers from the Hurricanes along with a 2025 fifth-round selection in exchange for David Kase back in August. The 22-year-old might prove to be a solid addition to Philadelphia's forward corps in the long run.
