ImpactTokarski was four seconds away from earning his first NHL win Dec. 2015, but New York's Tage Thompson beat him with a wrister through traffic to send the game into overtime. Tokarski had no chance at stopping either of the other Ranger goals, both of which came on perfectly-executed one-timers. The 31-year-old journeyman dropped to 0-4-0 with a 3.79 GAA and .904 save percentage.

Late goal forces OTThompson scored the game-tying goal and had two shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Rangers.

ImpactThompson squared the game with just four seconds left in regulation, sending a wrist shot through a screen from the left faceoff circle. It was just the second goal of the season for the 23-year-old, who has four points in 18 games.

ImpactAsplund took several stabs at a loose puck in the crease before finally jamming it past New York goaltender Igor Shesterkin, opening the scoring just 2:06 into the game. Asplund logged a team-low 10:12 of ice time for the Rangers and the goal was just his fourth in 37 career games.
