ImpactCouturier got the Flyers on the board in the closing seconds of the second period, finishing a give-and-go with Joel Farabee off a rush, before adding an assist on Travis Sanheim's tally in the third. The two-point effort extended Couturier's scoring streak to six games. He has two goals and five assists in that span after scoring just one goal in his previous five contests. The 31-year-old center is up to 21 points (seven goals, 14 assists) through 26 games this season.

Filip Forsberg - Scores overtime winnerForsberg notched a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Flyers.

ImpactForsberg set up Gustav Nyquist's opening goal in the first period before eventually scoring the game-winner just 18 seconds into overtime, putting a loose puck behind Samuel Ersson after following up his own shot. Forsberg had cooled off a bit after a red-hot start to the season -- Tuesday's two-point performance was his first multi-point game since Nov. 28. Still, it's been a strong season overall for the 28-year-old winger. Forberg now has 15 goals and 33 points through 29 games.

Samuel Ersson - Falls in overtimeErsson allowed three goals on 22 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Predators in overtime.

ImpactMaking his first start since Dec. 2, Ersson allowed a pair of goals in the first 23 minutes Tuesday before ultimately settling as the Flyers would force overtime. However, the 24-year-old netminder would wind up with the loss after Filip Forsberg scored the game-winner just 18 seconds into the extra frame. Ersson had won four straight starts coming into the game, posting a solid .932 save percentage in that span. Following a few rough outings to start the year, Ersson is now 5-3-2 with an .883 save percentage and 2.80 GAA on the campaign.
