Connor Hellebuyck - Platinum performer despite lossHellebuyck made 34 saves in a 2-0 loss to the Flyers on Saturday.
ImpactHis mates gave him no help Saturday, and Cam Atkinson beat him twice, including once on the power play. Hellebuyck has been one of the very best netminders in the NHL over the last five years. He's second in wins (142), first in shutouts (20) and first in games played (263). His save percentage (.918) is fourth overall among players with 150 games played. Hellebuyck is a platinum fantasy option.

ImpactIt was a statement game for Atkinson, who was a healthy scratch Thursday. His first goal, which was a redirection of Ryan Poehling's shot, was his first goal since Nov. 11. It ended a 26-game goal drought. Atkinson collected a rebound in the low slot on an early second-period power play and tucked it behind Connor Hellebuyck. Fingers crossed the carryover from his healthy scratch lasts a few more games.

Samuel Ersson - Dialed in over last monthErsson made 35 saves Saturday in a 2-0 win over the Jets.
ImpactIt was Ersson's third shutout of the season and fourth in the NHL. He's been sharp over the last month. Since Dec. 14, Ersson is 6-2-1 in nine starts including two shutouts and just 16 goals allowed. Carter Hart is the top dawg in Philly, but Ersson is doing his part to push the starter. He's a solid play when he's in the blue paint.
