ImpactEkman-Larsson has been held off the scoresheet just once over his last four games, providing two goals and three points over that span. Through 26 contests this season, he has seven goals and 14 points. While he's likely to continue to be a noteworthy defenseman from an offensive standpoint, the 32-year-old has seen a drop in his power-play use since Brandon Montour returned from a shoulder injury. Ekman-Larsson averaged 3:38 of ice time with the man advantage over his first 16 contests while Montour was unavailable, but from Nov. 17-Decd. 6 with Montour in the lineup, that's dipped to 2:12. Ekman-Larsson's fantasy value has diminished somewhat as a result, but it hasn't fallen off a cliff.

ImpactLuostarinen's marker came early in the third period and proved to be the game-winner. It was his third tally and sixth point in 26 contests this season, which is way down from his 2022-23 finish of 17 goals and 43 points in 82 appearances. That offensive decline is despite Luostarinen averaging 16:08 of ice time this year, which is roughly in line with his 15:59 last season. We're likely too deep into the season for the 25-year-old to recover to the point of matching his 2022-23 totals, but he should be able to increase his offensive pace at least somewhat as the campaign progresses.

ImpactLundell was limited to just one assist over his previous six outings. He has two goals and 12 points in 26 outings in 2023-24. Lundell is playing primarily as a middle-six forward and his offensive production is likely to come sporadically throughout the campaign.

ImpactBarkov collected an empty-netter in the dying seconds of the third period to close out the victory. He's up to three markers and five points over his last four games. Through 23 outings this year, Barkov has nine goals and 25 points. Provided he can stay relatively healthy, the 28-year-old should surpass the 70-point milestone for the third straight campaign.

Tristan Jarry - Loses despite solid effortJarry saved 30 of 32 shots in a 3-1 loss to the Panthers on Friday. Florida's third goal was scored on an empty net.
ImpactJarry was dealt his third straight loss, though he did his part tonight. The contest was tied 1-1 going into the final frame, but Florida outshot Pittsburgh 12-5 in the final frame, so the outcome isn't shocking. Jarry has an 8-10-2 record, 2.48 GAA and .918 save percentage in 20 contests this season. Among the nine goaltenders who have suffered at least eight regulation losses this campaign, Jarry has by far the best GAA -- John Gibson is second at 2.82 -- which highlights the lack of offensive support the Penguins netminder has been given.
