Impact Colangelo had 24 goals and 43 points in 38 appearances with Western Michigan University in 2023-24. He then finished the regular season by scoring a goal in three games with Anaheim as well as a goal and four points across four outings with San Diego. Although Colangelo is set to start the 2024-25 campaign in the minors, it wouldn't be surprising to see him get another shot with the Ducks at some point during the season.

Impact Aside from the result, it's a debut for Colangelo to remember. He scored at 2:54 of the third period to get his first NHL goal checked off quickly in his career. The winger displayed a strong scoring touch with 43 points over 38 games in his senior year at Western Michigan University in 2023-24. He'll likely play in the Ducks' two remaining games to get a little more of a taste of the NHL before pushing for a full-time job next season.

Signs entry-level deal Colangelo signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Ducks on Thursday. The contract will begin immediately for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.

Impact Anaheim selected Colangelo with the 36th overall pick in the 2020 Entry Draft. The 22-year-old winger appeared in 38 games as a senior with Western Michigan University this season, racking up an impressive 24 goals and 43 points. He'll join the Ducks immediately and could make his NHL debut as soon as Friday against Calgary.
