Lands two-way agreement Laberge signed a one-year, two-way contract with San Jose on Tuesday.

Impact Laberge had three goals, one assist and 76 PIM in 38 regular-season appearances for AHL Utica in 2024-25. The 28-year-old forward will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors.

Impact Laberge made his NHL debut in 2023-24, playing a pair of games just after Thanksgiving, before returning to the AHL to complete the season. He was pointless at the NHL level, but generated six goals, 13 assists and 92 PIM in 59 regular-season appearances with AHL Utica.

Impact Laberge finally made his NHL debut this season, playing in two games for the Devils in which he generated three hits while logging a combined 6:11 of ice time. Considering the 27-year-old winger has never reached the 20-point threshold in AHL action, he figures to remain primarily a fringe roster option for New Jersey moving forward.

Impact Laberge has a goal, three points and 16 PIM in eight games with AHL Utica this season. The 26-year-old hasn't featured in the NHL yet, but with the Devils set to play in back-to-back games against Philadelphia on Thursday and San Jose on Friday, perhaps he'll get a chance to enter the lineup. If Laberge does play in either of those contests, it will likely be as a member of the fourth line.
