Filip Zadina - Agrees to terms with Sharks Zadina inked a one-year, $1.1 million contract with San Jose on Monday.

Impact Zadina collected 28 goals and 68 points in 190 games with Detroit over the past five seasons prior to having his contract terminated. The 23-year-old forward has failed to live up to expectations since being selected with the No. 6 pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. Zadina will get a fresh start with the Sharks, and his offensive upside could make him a solid addition to the roster.

Martin Kaut - Signs with Pardubice Kaut signed a one-year contract with HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Czech League, Josh Frojelin of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Impact Kaut's NHL rights will remain with the Sharks who gave him a qualifying offer in June. Kaut had four goals and eight points in 36 NHL games in 2022-23, tallying three times with a pair of helpers in nine games with the Sharks after a Jan. 25 trade from the Avalanche.
