Justin Bailey - Helpers in consecutive contests Bailey logged an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Golden Knights.
Impact Bailey has a helper in each of the last two games and four assists across seven contests since he made his Sharks debut Nov. 27. The 28-year-old winger has already matched his career high in points in a season at the NHL level. He's added eight shots on net, five hits and a plus-3 rating while mainly seeing time on the third line. He's unlikely to sustain this offense throughout the season, so Bailey is only really an option for fantasy managers in very deep formats.

Filip Zadina - Registers helper Sunday Zadina notched an assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Golden Knights.
Impact The helper was Zadina's first point in three games since he returned from an upper-body injury. The 24-year-old winger has seen bottom-six minutes since his return, so it's no surprise there hasn't been much offense for his effort. He's at six points, 35 shots on net and a minus-19 rating through 23 appearances in his first season with the Sharks. That's roughly in line with the seven points in 30 games he generated with the Red Wings in 2022-23.

Alexander Barabanov - Slides helper Barabanov notched an assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Golden Knights.
Impact Barabanov has a goal and three assists over four games since he returned from a finger injury. He's slotted in seamlessly to his usual top-line role alongside longtime linemate Tomas Hertl, and it's a combination that has helped the Sharks win two of the four games Barabanov's played in since his return. The 29-year-old started the season with six scoreless outings prior to the injury, but he's picked up 15 shots on net and a minus-3 rating through 10 contests. Fantasy managers will at least want to keep an eye on him when he's in the top six, as he could provide a solid return on minimal investment in most formats.

Tomas Hertl - Assists on game-tying goal Hertl provided an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Golden Knights.
Impact Hertl set up Mike Hoffman's second goal of the game to tie it at 4-4. With five goals and three assists during a five-game point streak, Hertl is more than doing his part to make the Sharks exciting again. The 30-year-old forward has nine goals, 15 helpers, 68 shots on net, 25 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating through 27 outings overall. Outside of a rough plus-minus rating, he's playing as well as you'd expect from the average top-line center.

Impact Granlund helped out on the Sharks' first two tallies. The 31-year-old has five multi-point efforts over his last eight games, which has been a driving force in the Sharks starting to look competitive in more games. He's up to a strong three goals, 15 assists, 43 shots on net, 23 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 21 appearances this season. Granlund's spot on the second line is safe as long as his offense remains at least decent.

Impact Ferraro stunned the Vegas crowd early with a goal 29 seconds into the game, his first tally of the campaign. The 25-year-old defenseman has three points and a plus-4 rating over his last eight games. Overall, he's at five points, 49 shots on net, 29 hits, 80 blocked shots and a minus-16 rating through 28 contests while logging top-four minutes in his fifth season with the Sharks.

Impact Kahkonen wasn't as busy as Jiri Patera, but he didn't play very well. The Sharks' offense bailed him out partially, rallying late to force overtime, but Kahkonen let in two of the Golden Knights' three shootout attempts to take the loss, snapping his four-game winning streak. Kahkonen is now at 5-6-1 with a 3.88 GAA and an .894 save percentage on the year, but he's been trending in the right direction lately. The Sharks are home for their next game Tuesday versus the Jets after wrapping up a six-game road trip.

Impact Vlasic has moved in and out of the lineup recently as a healthy scratch but will now miss some time due to personal reasons. Impact It'll be the third straight start for Kahkonen, who's won his last four outings, posting a .915 save percentage in that span. He'll have a tough task against a Vegas team that's averaging 3.3 goals per game, the third most in the NHL.

Kahkonen is on a personal four-game win streak with victories over the Canucks, Devils, Islanders and Red Wings. All five of Kahkonen's wins have come in their the last three weeks (5-1-0). He may have some deep league value if he can keep this hot streak going.

Impact The Sharks went down 4-0 in the second period and that was the end of Blackwood's night. And then the Sharks roared back, tying the game less than six minutes later. Blackwood is 3-11-2 with a 3.20 GAA and .893 save percentage this season. There's no reason to put him in your blue paint. The Sharks are a struggling squad, and Blackwood isn't a twine savior.

Sure, Hertl's minus-14 has an odor for those of you in leagues that count that stat, but his other stats are worthy of greater activation.
