Jack Thompson - Earns first career helperThompson notched a power-play assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Ducks.
ImpactThompson earned his first career helper in his fifth appearance. The 22-year-old blueliner has drawn into two straight games, with Matt Benning serving as a healthy scratch after a lackluster start to 2024-25. Thompson has added three shots on net, four blocked shots and two hits over his two contests. He's likely to stay on the third pairing at even strength, but he could see power-play time as well, which could give him a path to fantasy rosters in deep formats if he's productive in that role.

William Eklund - Grabs power-play helperEklund logged a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Ducks.
ImpactEklund has four points over his last three games, and two of those points have come on the power play. The 22-year-old winger is reportedly playing through some discomfort, but his performance on offense has been fine despite that issue. Eklund has a goal, four assists, 17 shots on net, five blocked shots and a minus-2 rating across six appearances.

Mikael Granlund - Nets first goal of seasonGranlund scored a power-play goal on five shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Ducks.
ImpactGranlund's goal at 4:55 of the third period briefly tied the game at 1-1. The 32-year-old had been all playmaker prior to this, and he's maintained a point-per-game pace (one goal, six assists) through seven contests. The center has added 23 shots on net, six hits, four blocked shots, eight PIM and a minus-2 rating, and four of his seven points have come on the power play. Macklin Celebrini (lower body) is expected to miss another two weeks, so Granlund has a bit more time to enjoy himself as the No. 1 center.
