Thatcher Demko - Eighth win in 11 games since returnDemko made 25 saves in a 3-1 win Saturday over the Stars.
ImpactThe only puck that got past him came on a one-timer from the point by Ryan Suter in the first period. Demko has now won two straight and eight-of-11 since he returned from injury at the end of February. He has allowed two or fewer goals in eight of those 11. This is the Demko of old. He's a big reason why the Orcas have won nine of their past 11 and significantly undermined their ability to draft Connor Bedard, a generational talent, this summer.

ImpactKarlsson simply keeps stacking up the points, improving his case for the Norris trophy this season. He's on a three-game, five-point streak (two goals, three assists), and has the first 90-point season of his career (22 goals, 68 helpers). Karlsson is the NHL's third-best assist man this season, behind only Connor McDavid (78) and Nikita Kucherov (74). He's 21 points ahead of the second-highest scoring defender (Josh Morrissey; 69 points).

Guillaume Brisebois - Game-time decisionBrisebois (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision Saturday against Dallas.
ImpactBrisebois was a late scratch Thursday versus San Jose because of an undisclosed issue. He has posted three points, 15 shots on goal and 24 blocks in 15 NHL appearances this season. If Brisebois is too banged up to play Saturday, Jack Rathbone is expected to be in the lineup.

Christian Wolanin - Day-to-dayWolanin (lower body) is day-to-day after leaving Thursday's contest against the Sharks early in the first period.
ImpactCoach Rick Tocchet said Saturday that the team hasn't received a full report on Wolanin yet, so it sounds like he's still being evaluated. He shouldn't be expected to play Saturday versus Dallas. Wolanin has three assists, 16 shots on goal and 11 blocks in 16 contests with Vancouver this season.
