Ryker Evans - Scores first NHL goal Evans scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Friday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Coyotes.
Impact Evans has three points over his last four games, with his tally Friday being his first at the NHL level. The 22-year-old defenseman continues to fill in for Vince Dunn (upper body). Evans has eight points, 30 shots on net, 39 hits, 24 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 24 appearances this season. With the Kraken rapidly fading out of playoff contention, Evans may get a longer look in the lineup even when Dunn is healthy.

Impact Daccord came within 1:08 of a shutout, and he was then 48 seconds short of guiding the game to a shootout. It's at least a stronger performance than he displayed Monday versus the Sabres, but it's still his fourth straight loss. Daccord is down to 17-15-11 with a 2.50 GAA and a .917 save percentage over 44 appearances this season. The Kraken have alternated goalies during their seven-game skid, so it wouldn't be surprising for Philipp Grubauer to start Sunday versus the Canadiens.

Impact Schwartz returned from a four-game absence and was the only Kraken player to put a puck past Vegas goalie Logan Thompson. The winger tipped in a Ryker Evans shot in the third period to tie the game at 1-1. Schwartz has 12 goals, 24 points (nine on the power play), 98 shots on net, 37 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-12 rating through 48 appearances. He should see top-six minutes and serve as a net-front option on the power play if he can stay healthy over the rest of the season.

This has been his best season with the Kraken, but his grasp on the No. 1 job in net isn't very firm. Expect Joey Daccord to get the starting nod Friday in Arizona.
