Impact Schultz snapped a six-game slump with the pair of points. The 33-year-old defenseman scored the go-ahead goal at 13:29 of the second period and then assisted on a Jordan Eberle tally on the next shift. Schultz has 18 points, 72 shots on net, 46 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating through 46 outings this season. He remains on the third pairing and appears to have the edge over Ryker Evans for playing time.

Impact Eberle had been limited to two points over his previous six outings before breaking out Thursday. He was involved in the Kraken's last three goals as they pulled away with the win. Eberle is up to 12 tallies, 33 points, 114 shots on net and a plus-7 rating through 52 appearances. His name has been floated in trade rumors, but the Kraken are likely to hold onto him as long as they're within striking distance of a playoff spot.

Impact McCann buried a power-play goal from a tough angle early in the second period. He also set up one goal by Vince Dunn and two more from Jordan Eberle. This was a career-best game for McCann, who has five goals and five assists during his six-game point streak. For the season, the 27-year-old has 25 goals, 20 assists, 142 shots on net and a minus-1 rating through 55 appearances.

Philipp Grubauer - Keeps Canucks under control Grubauer stopped 19 of 21 shots in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Impact It wasn't a goaltending Picasso, but Grubauer did enough to get the win while Jared McCann and Jordan Eberle led the charge on offense with a combined seven points. Grubauer has won both of his starts since he returned from a lower-body injury, stopping 45 of 48 shots over those two games. He's up to 7-9-1 with a 3.04 GAA and an .890 save percentage through 19 appearances. Grubauer's getting more consistent results lately, so he may have a chance to carve into Joey Daccord's playing time.

Burakovsky has just seven points and 34 shots on net through 24 appearances this season, making him a major disappointment for fantasy managers that thought he could bounce back after an injury-shortened 2022-23 campaign.

Impact Gourde snapped a six-game slump with his helper on a Jaden Schwartz tally in the third period. He'd need a massive surge to get back to the 48-point mark he posted in his first two years with the Kraken, and that's unlikely to happen with him firmly in a third-line role.

Fantasy managers can be happy with his offense, which has him in a position to come near the 64-point campaign he posted in 2022-23.
