Alexander Wennberg - Collects two points vs. Dallas Wennberg supplied a goal and an assist in a 7-2 victory over Dallas in Game 3 on Sunday.
Impact Wennberg was held off the scoresheet over the Kraken's previous four outings. Despite that slump, he's been a solid offensive contributor in the 2023 playoffs with two goals and six points in 10 appearances. It's largely been an extension of the kind of support Wennberg provided during the regular season, during which he had 13 goals and 38 points in 82 outings.

Impact Tolvanen's marker came late in the second period to extend Seattle's lead to 5-1, and his assist came on the power play in the waning minutes of the contest. He brought his eight-game goal-scoring slump to an end and earned his first multi-point effort since March 25. Impact Schultz has been serving on Seattle's third pairing and has averaged a modest 15:31 of ice time in the playoffs, but that hasn't stopped him from chipping in offensively. Through 10 postseason contests, he has three goals and eight points. Schultz assisted on Carson Soucy's marker early in the second period and then scored himself while the Kraken were on the power play late in the third frame.

Impact Grubauer bounced back after allowing eight goals on 72 shots over his previous two outings. Although this contest ended up being a blowout, the goaltender had to hold his own in the scoreless first period. Dallas then outshot Seattle a staggering 17-8 in the second frame, but Grubauer held firm, and the Kraken went into the second intermission with a 5-1 lead as a result. He improved to 6-4 with a 2.67 GAA and a .918 save percentage in 10 playoff appearances this year.

Impact Soucy's marker early in the second period put Seattle up 3-0 and proved to be the game-winner. It was his first goal and second point in 10 playoff appearances this year. Soucy has averaged just 13:46 of ice time in the postseason and shouldn't be counted on to make regular offensive contributions.

Niklas Kokko - Secures ELC Kokko signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Kraken on Monday, per CapFriendly.
Impact Kokko was a second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He posted a 2.98 GAA and a .903 save percentage across eight appearances in the Finnish Elite League this season. It's unclear when the team expects him to transition to North American hockey.

Philipp Grubauer - First off ahead of Game 3 Grubauer was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Scott Malone of Root Sports reports, indicating he will start Sunday's home matchup in Game 3 versus Dallas.
Impact Grubauer is coming off a 33-save effort in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Stars. He has a 5-4 record this postseason, surrendering 25 goals on 303 shots. Dallas ranks fifth in the playoffs this year with 3.63 goals per game.
