Ryker Evans - Receives call-upEvans was recalled from AHL Coachella Valley on Tuesday.
ImpactEvans is off to a modest start at the AHL level this season with eight points and 20 PIM through 18 contests. Nonetheless, he'll get a look at the NHL level with the Kraken in the midst of a five-game losing streak. The team is at home for a six-game homestand, which allows head coach Dave Hakstol to set the matchups on the ice -- expect Evans to receive sheltered usage on the third pairing and potentially some power-play time if he gets into the lineup.

Eeli Tolvanen - Slings power-play helperTolvanen recorded a power-play assist and four hits in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.
ImpactThe helper was Tolvanen's scored point over his last five games, as his offense has slowed during the Kraken's recent skid in that span. The 24-year-old has still been one of the team's better forwards with 17 points (five on the power play), 56 shots on net, 56 hits, 33 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 26 outings. Tolvanen chips in enough across the board to fill a depth role in standard fantasy formats, especially when he's averaging a career-best 16:12 of ice time per game.

Adam Larsson - Snags assist MondayLarsson posted an assist, seven shots on goal and two PIM in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.
ImpactLarsson had a solid game, and he was rewarded with a helper on Jared McCann's second-period tally. While Larsson's offense is usually too low for fantasy purposes, he's picked up five points over his last seven contests. The 31-year-old blueliner has seven points, 52 shots on net, 51 blocked shots, 48 hits, 16 PIM and a minus-6 rating through 26 outings overall, and he can be useful in some formats when he's chipping in points.

Matty Beniers - Supplies power-play assistBeniers logged a power-play assist in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.
ImpactBeniers had the secondary helper on Vince Dunn's third-period marker. While Beniers has six points over his last nine games, he's gone scoreless in five of those outings. The 21-year-old center hasn't displayed much consistency this season, though the Kraken's return to the lower end of the scoring spectrum isn't helping his cause. Beniers has 13 points, 45 shots on net and a minus-17 rating through 26 appearances.

Jared McCann - Scores in Monday's lossMcCann scored a goal in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.
ImpactMcCann is in a hot stretch with five goals and two assists over his last seven contests. The 27-year-old forward was moved off of the top line to a trio with Alexander Wennberg and Brandon Tanev in Monday's contest as head coach Dave Hakstol tries to spark the Kraken's offense amid a five-game losing streak. McCann has played well regardless of his placement in the lineup, racking up 12 goals, five assists, 75 shots on net and a minus-10 rating through 26 outings.

Juraj Slafkovsky - Moves to top lineSlafkovsky had one shot and two hits over 17:14 of ice time in Monday's 4-2 win over Seattle.
ImpactSlafkovsky was moved to the top line with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield after a tweak of the line combinations. While his line score doesn't suggest a productive night, Slafkovsky is doing the things not seen in a box score, per Arpon Basu of The Athletic. "If you don't move your feet, it's hard to use your size," Montreal head coach Martin St. Louis said. "There's anticipation and understanding where the game's going, so I think he's anticipating really well and he gets there on time so he can use his body." St. Louis wanted to give the 19-year-old forward stable linemates this season to foster his development, but that luxury has not been available to the coach due to injuries. St. Louis has left him in a top-six environment, including power-play ice time, and while Slafkovsky's play has pleased the Canadiens' coaching staff, it hasn't yet paid fantasy dividends. Slafkovsky has two goals on 34 shots (5.9 shooting percentage) and five assists through 25 games.

Cole Caufield - Helps on power playCaufield had a power-play assist, three shots on net and one hit over 17:21 of ice time in Monday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
ImpactCaufield and Nick Suzuki played a game of catch along the side wall before Suzuki set up Sean Monahan for the Canadiens' third score. The assist snapped a 10-game drought without a power-play point for Caufield, who has nine points on the man-advantage unit through 25 games.
