Helps out on power play Theodore logged a power-play assist, five shots on goal, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Ducks.

Impact Theodore picked up five helpers over eight outings in April, a noticeable drop from his electric performances in March. The 28-year-old blueliner ends the regular season with 42 points in 47 outings, surpassing his 41-point campaign from 2022-23. He added 105 shots on net, 78 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating this season, and he'll likely play a key top-four role for the Golden Knights during the playoffs.

Impact Theodore's offense has slowed down lately -- he has just three assists over his last seven contests. The 28-year-old defenseman has also lost his top-unit power-play role to Noah Hanifin. Theodore is still a strong scoring option from the blue line with five goals, 40 points, 94 shots on net, 74 blocked shots and a plu-4 rating through 44 appearances, but it's unreasonable to expect him to hover around a point-per-game pace in the long run.

Impact Theodore finally cooled off with three straight scoreless outings, but he made up for it with his pair of helpers Friday to snap the funk. Theodore will likely handle a significant role at even strength and on the power play as long as Alex Pietrangelo (illness) is out.
