The 23-year-old defenseman played a season-high 22:01 in Thursday's game, helping to offset the absence of Nick Leddy (lower body). Broberg's scoring pace will fade eventually, but he looks like a strong depth option for fantasy managers in the early going.

Jake Neighbours - Nets lone goal in overtime win Neighbours scored a goal on four shots, doled out four hits and added two PIM in Thursday's 1-0 overtime win over the Islanders.
Impact Neighbours had the game's only goal at 2:04 of overtime, which was a great time for him to earn his first point of the season. The 22-year-old winger has added 10 shots on net, 13 hits and a minus-4 rating over five contests. Neighbours is in a position to succeed on the Blues' second line, but regression was expected after he shot 18.6 percent in a 27-goal, 38-point effort over 77 regular-season outings last year.

Joel Hofer - Secures shutout in overtime Hofer posted a 34-save shutout in Thursday's 1-0 overtime win over the Islanders.
Impact Hofer has won both of his starts this season, and he had to be perfect to do it this time. The 24-year-old helped his own cause, providing the secondary assist on Jake Neighbours' game-winning tally at 2:04 of overtime. Hofer has allowed four goals on 63 shots so far. If he continues to play well, he could work his way into a near-even split of playing time with Jordan Binnington, who has lost two of his three outings this season.

Joel Hofer - Slated to start Thursday Hofer was the first goalie off Thursday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports, indicating he'll be in goal for the Blues' home game against the Islanders.
Impact Hofer has started in just one of the Blues' first four games of the season, and he turned aside 25 of 29 shots in a road win over the Sharks on Oct. 10 during his first start of the year. He'll have the chance to start at home Thursday against the Islanders, who have scored 10 goals over their first three games this season while posting a 1-1-1 record.

Impact Bolduc has been listed on the Blues' second line since Alexandre Texier (upper body) exited the lineup. It appears Bolduc has lost some trust though, as he was last among the team's skaters with 10:45 of ice time in Tuesday's loss. The 21-year-old has four shots on net and a plus-3 rating to go with his one assist, but he'll need to show a bit more on offense before he'll be an option in fantasy.

Nick Leddy - Misses practice Wednesday Leddy wasn't on the ice for Wednesday's practice session due to a lower-body injury, Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Impact Leddy hasn't been ruled out versus the Islanders on Thursday yet but could still be held out. The fact that the Blues are carrying eight defensemen on their 23-man roster might also factor into the decision to put Leddy on the shelf for a game even if his lower-body injury is deemed minor. Pierre-Olivier Joseph appears to have the inside track for replacing Leddy if necessary, though Scott Perunovich is also waiting for an opportunity to play.

Impact Binnington has posted back-to-back defeats in his last two starts while posting a save percentage under the .900 mark in both contests, so it's safe to say things haven't been working out for him in the early stages of the campaign. Despite the early-season struggles, Binnington should remain between the sticks most of the time, and his next chance to bounce back will come against the Islanders on Thursday.

Impact Joseph had gone pointless over the first three games of the season, and while he ended that negative run with a goal here, it came when the Blues were already down 0-3.
