Adam Gaudette - Returned to AHL Gaudette was reassigned to AHL Springfield on Tuesday.

Impact Gaudette moves back to the minor-league affiliate as the Blues are off until Feb. 10 for the All-Star break and bye week. He was healthy scratched for five straight games after playing in two contests following his Jan. 17 recall.

Jordan Binnington - Tough-luck loss to Columbus Binnington allowed one goal on 22 shots in Tuesday's 1-0 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Impact Binnington was sharp Tuesday, blanking Columbus until Dmitri Voronkov's goal 4:11 into the third period. However, the Blues failed to crack Elvis Merzlikins on the other end, sticking Binnington with a tough 1-0 loss. The 30-year-old netminder has played well of late -- he'd won three straight starts prior to Tuesday's contest, posting a .943 save percentage in that span. Binnington will head into the All-Star break at 17-13-2 with a .908 save percentage and 2.92 GAA.

Mackenzie MacEachern - Done for season MacEachern suffered a shoulder injury in the minors Jan. 27 that will require surgery, ruling him out the rest of 2023-24, the team announced Tuesday.

Impact MacEachern being in the minors will prevent the Blues from having to designate him for injured reserve. Still, the winger logged eight games in December for the club in which he registered one assist, nine hits and four shots. At this point, even if MacEachern is fully fit next season as expected, he looks like a fringe NHL option and figures to continue to split time between the NHL and AHL.

Jordan Binnington - Slated to start Binnington is on track to guard the home goal versus the Blue Jackets on Tuesday, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.

Impact Binnington played pretty well in his last start Friday versus the Kraken, turning aside 33 of 36 shots en route to a 4-3 victory. The 30-year-old netminder will try to extend his personal winning streak to four games in a favorable home matchup with a Columbus team that's 6-11-6 on the road this year.

Scott Perunovich - Won't play Tuesday Perunovich (lower body) won't be available to play Tuesday versus Columbus, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Impact Perunovich is scheduled to have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury. He was hurt in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Kings. Perunovich has chipped in 12 assists, 23 shots on goal and 28 blocked shots over 31 games this season. Tyler Tucker is slated to replace Perunovich in the lineup Tuesday.

Colton Parayko - Notches 10th assist Parayko recorded an assist, two shots on net, two hits and two blocked shots across 24:06 of ice time in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win versus the Kings.

Impact Parayko posted at least 23 assists in each of the previous two seasons, but he's pacing to miss that mark by a wide margin this season with just 10 assists through 48 games. However, he has already scored eight goals, which is just two scores shy of his career high. His offensive output will be inconsistent as long as he's left off the power play.

Impact The 24-year-old center has proven he's a true No. 1 center this season now that Ryan O'Reilly is in Nashville. Thomas has averaged 20:59 of ice time this season, recording 17 goals and 52 points -- 10 on the power play -- through 48 games. He's currently riding a five-game point streak with one game to play before the All-Star Game, which he will participate in.

Impact Los Angeles twice grabbed one-goal leads earlier in the game, but Hofer kept his focus and shut down the opposition through the third period and OT. It's the 23-year-old netminder's second straight win after a three-game losing streak, but he's given up at least three goals in all five starts. On the season, Hofer sports a 9-8-0 record with a 2.89 GAA and .909 save percentage.
