ImpactMarchessault helped out on Jack Eichel's equalizer in the third period. After closing November on a four-game slump, Marchessault has three points, including two on the power play, in the first two games of December. The 32-year-old winger is up to 17 points (six on the power play), 81 shots on net, 24 hits, 16 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 26 outings. While he's no longer on the top line, Marchessault can chip in enough scoring and grit to help in most fantasy formats.

ImpactPietrangelo had the primary assist in Jack Eichel's power-play goal at 12:58 of the third period, tying the game to force overtime. He ended up with a minus-1 rating, two shots on goal, a blocked shot and two hits in a team-high 23:40 of ice time across 24 shifts. Pietrangelo has notched three assists in the past three games. It was his first point in front of the home fans since posting a goal and three points Nov. 10 against the Sharks.

He has scored in a season-high three consecutive games, while posting at least one point in four in a row. Eichel has three goals and eight points with a plus-3 rating with three power-play points during the hot streak. He'll look to extend both streaks Wednesday at St. Louis in the second end of the home-and-home set.
