Tampa Bay visits Columbus after Point's 2-goal game

The Tampa Bay Lightning visit the Columbus Blue Jackets after Brayden Point scored two goals in the Lightning's 3-2 overtime win over the Pittsburgh Penguins
1 HOUR AGOASSOCIATED PRESS
Sam Poulin - Nabs first point of seasonPoulin produced an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Lightning.
ImpactPoulin has taken over a bottom-six spot in the lineup, relegating Valtteri Puustinen to the press box as a healthy scratch. The assist Tuesday was Poulin's first point in four appearances, to go with one shot on goal, six hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating. That's not enough production in any area to justify rostering the 23-year-old in most fantasy formats, though it may be enough to keep him in the lineup regularly.

Matt Grzelcyk - Draws helper with man advantageGrzelcyk logged a power-play assist and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Lightning.
ImpactThe helper snapped a six-game point drought for Grzelcyk, but that was about the only positive from his performance. His two points over nine outings in November have both been power-play assist. The 30-year-old defenseman is at eight assists, 23 shots on net, 32 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating through 21 contests overall. Grzelcyk's poor defensive play is part of a larger problem in Pittsburgh, and it's likely only because of his teammates' struggles that he hasn't sat out a game yet.

Marcus Pettersson - Plucks apple in overtime lossPettersson notched an assist and three blocked shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Lightning.
ImpactPettersson has three helpers over his last six contests. The 28-year-old blueliner is often capable of putting up offense that gets him right on the fringe of fantasy interest, with more value in formats that reward his non-scoring contributions. This season, he's racked up nine points, 21 shots on net, 19 PIM, 21 hits, 38 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 21 outings. Pettersson should continue to be a fixture in the Penguins' top four.

Jesse Puljujarvi - Goals in consecutive gamesPuljujarvi scored a goal on a team-high five shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Lightning.
ImpactPuljujarvi opened the scoring at 12:05 of the first period. It was his second goal in as many games, which is helping him maintain a bottom-six job even as the Penguins flounder near the bottom of the standings. The 26-year-old winger is at three goals, eight points, 32 shots on net, 24 hits and a minus-1 rating over 18 appearances this season.

Conor Geekie - Helps out in overtimeGeekie logged an assist and three hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Penguins.
ImpactGeekie snapped a six-game slump with the secondary helper on Brayden Point's overtime tally. The 20-year-old Geekie is doing well to hold onto a middle-six role as a rookie. The offense is yet to come though -- he has four points, 20 shots on net, 21 hits, six PIM and a plus-1 rating over 17 appearances. Dynasty managers will want to hold onto the promising forward, but he doesn't need to be on the radar in redraft leagues.
2 HOURS AGOROTOWIRE
Janis Moser - Sets up game-winning goalMoser registered an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Penguins.
ImpactMoser set up Brayden Point's second goal of the game, which came at 3:58 of overtime to complete the comeback win. Aside from a pair of three-point games in October, it's been radio silence on the scoresheet for Moser. He snapped a 10-game point drought with his helper Tuesday and now has two goals, five assists, 21 shots on net, 26 blocked shots, 13 hits and a plus-7 rating over 17 contests. He's filling a top-four role, but his slump has recently cost him power-play time, so he's more of a pure defender at this stage of the season.
