Jake McCabe - Won't play Tuesday McCabe (groin) won't play Tuesday against the Kings, according to David Alter of Sports Illustrated.
Impact McCabe may be able to ramp it up at practice prior to Thursday's contest against Boston, but it's unclear if he will be ready to play by then. He hasn't been in the lineup since Oct. 26 versus the Stars because of a groin injury. McCabe has six shots on goal, nine blocked shots, 12 hits and a minus-4 rating in seven games this season.

Joseph Woll - Gets starting nod Tuesday Woll will be between the pipes at home versus the Kings on Tuesday, Joshua Kloke of The Athletic reports.
Impact Woll is riding a three-game winning streak, during which he has allowed just two goals on 98 shots for a .980 save percentage with one shutout. The 25-year-old backstop has seemingly replaced Ilya Samsonov as the preferred choice in the crease, though his hold on the No. 1 job is likely tenuous at best. It will likely be a relatively even split between Woll and Samsonov moving forward, with the hot hand getting to stay in the goal.

William Nylander - Sets Leafs' franchise mark Nylander scored a power-play goal in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Predators on Saturday.
Impact He put the Buds up 1-0 at 13:32 of the first period with a power-play goal on a one-timer off a feed from Auston Matthews. Nylander has 12 points, including six goals, on his eight-game point streak. He's the fourth player in Maple Leafs history to begin the season with an eight-game point streak, joining Frank Mahovlich, Lanny McDonald and John Anderson.

Ilya Samsonov - Starting to improve Samsonov made 21 saves in a 3-2 overtime loss to Nashville on Saturday.
Impact Samsonov has struggled so far, and at times, he looked to be squeezing his stick too hard. The first goal he surrendered was a touch weak -- Ryan O'Reilly slid a puck under his pad on the power play. But then he buckled down and made a bunch of great stops prior to losing the game in overtime. Still, Samsonov is in need of a confidence boost, as he is losing ground to Joseph Woll in Toronto's early-season goalie competition. Samsonov should settle into a roll soon, but there will be ups and downs for fantasy managers along the way.
