Impact Samsonov went 3-2-0 in his last five outings in which he posted a 2.81 GAA. In 12 road clashes this year, the netminder is 5-6-1 with a .899 save percentage, well off the pace of his home record where he is 17-2-1. Fortunately for Samsonov, even if he struggles Tuesday, the Leafs follow that up with a four-game home stand where he should be capable of getting back on track.

Impact Murray is coming off a 20-save effort in Saturday's 4-1 loss to Vancouver. He has a record of 11-6-2 this season with a 2.80 GAA and a .908 save percentage in 20 appearances. The Oilers rank first in the league with 3.86 goals per game. Murray and Ilya Samsonov are expected to share starts down the stretch for the Leafs.

Ryan O'Reilly - Undergoes successful surgery O'Reilly has had surgery to repair his broken finger and is facing a four-week recovery, David Alter of Sports Illustrated reports Tuesday.
Impact O'Reilly was doing well in Toronto with three goals and two assists in his eight appearances for the Leafs but will now have to spend the next month on the shelf. At this point, the 32-year-old center could be back just in time to play in a handful of games before the playoffs in order to gear up for a deep postseason run. With John Tavares (illness) also sidelined, the Leafs have turned to Sam Lafferty to step into the second-line center role.
