Impact Holmberg made an early impact, setting up linemate Max Pacioretty for the opening goal at 8:18 of the first period. While more of a defensive forward, Holmberg produced 30 points over 91 contests across his first two seasons. The 25-year-old has filled the third-line center spot to begin 2024-25, though he's unlikely to produce enough in any given category to earn much fantasy interest.

Conor Timmins - Generates assist Timmins logged an assist and two PIM in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Devils.
Impact Timmins has maintained a third-pairing spot for both of the Maple Leafs' games so far, leaving Timothy Liljegren to serve as a healthy scratch. The 26-year-old Timmins produced 10 points in 25 regular-season contests last season, but he also saw some time on the second power-play unit, which isn't expected to happen in 2024-25. His 2023-24 was interrupted by mononucleosis, but he's healthy now and seems to have a leg up to sticking in the lineup regularly this season.

Bobby McMann - Pots goal Thursday McMann scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Devils.
Impact McMann was a healthy scratch in the season opener Wednesday in Montreal. He entered the lineup over Ryan Reaves for the second game of a back-to-back and scored one of three Toronto tallies in the first period. The 28-year-old McMann was decent in a limited role last year with 24 points, 118 shots on net, 117 hits and 52 PIM over 56 regular-season appearances before a knee injury took him out of the lineup just before the playoffs. He's not a lock to be in the lineup regularly, but he could help his own cause if he continues to put up offense when he plays.
