Brandon Gignac - Waived SundayGignac was waived Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
ImpactGignac accumulated 19 goals and 55 points over 61 regular-season contests for AHL Laval in 2023-24. He also earned one goal, seven shots on net, seven blocked shots and five hits in seven NHL outings with the Canadiens last campaign. Gignac will probably spend most of the upcoming season in the AHL.

Lucas Condotta - Waived by MontrealCondotta was placed on waivers for reassignment to AHL Laval on Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
ImpactCondotta has a goal in four career NHL contests. The 26-year-old winger figures to spend most of the upcoming campaign in the AHL as a depth option for Montreal.
