Impact Jarry has had a rough campaign with a record of 1-3-1 to go along with a 4.41 GAA and an .869 save percentage in six appearances. He's surrendered at least three goals in each of his six outings in 2024-25. Vancouver ranks 14th offensively with 3.15 goals per game.

His last two efforts have at least been in the range of respectable, but he's yet to allow fewer than three goals in a game, and that's often a mark the Penguins can't cover -- the team has scored at least three goals in just four of 10 contests in November. Impact Jarry will make his second straight start and third in the last four games as Alex Nedeljkovic will once again watch from the bench. It has not been a good season at the NHL level for Jarry as he is 1-2-1 with a 4.72 GAA and an .863 save percentage in five appearances. It won't get any easier Friday as Jarry will face the Jets, who are the best team in the NHL with a 16-3-0 record.

Impact This is a bit of a surprise as the Penguins only gave Jarry three games this season, after he was their No. 1 goaltender the past three seasons. Granted, Jarry got off to a horrible start, giving up 12 goals on 73 shots (.836 save percentage), but the Penguins were not able to be patient with him as they are 3-5-1 to start the season. The Penguins will rely on Alex Nedeljkovic and Joel Blomqvist in Jarry's absence.
