Patrik Koch - Summoned from AHL Koch was called up by Utah on Wednesday.
Impact Koch made his NHL debut with Arizona in 2023-24, recording 10 PIM, one shot, four hits and one block while logging 9:20 of ice time. He hasn't played in the NHL since, but he might get a shot with Utah during this stint with the team. He has no points and two PIM in two contests with AHL Tucson in 2024-25.

Sean Durzi - Ruled out indefinitely Durzi (upper body) is expected to be sidelined indefinitely according to general manager Bill Armstrong on Tuesday, per Scott Garrard of KSL Sports Zone.
Impact Durzi's absence will compound an already thin blue line that is still missing John Marino (upper body). Through the first four games of the season, Durzi was averaging the second most ice time (21:28) behind only Mikhail Sergachev. Without Durzi in the lineup, Michael Kesselring and Juuso Valimaki figure to see significant upticks in ice time. Don't be surprised to see Durzi designated for long-term injured reserve in the next few days.

Impact Making his first start of the season, Vejmelka played well --two of the three shots that beat him came on New Jersey power plays -- but he got no support from his offense. Connor Ingram has a 3.55 GAA and .871 save percentage despite his 3-0-0 start to the season, but so far Vejmelka appears firmly in the No. 2 role between the pipes for Utah.

Karel Vejmelka - Gets starting nod versus Devils Vejmelka will be between the road pipes against New Jersey on Monday, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports.
Impact Vejmelka will make his first start of the 2024-25 campaign after Connor Ingram opened the year on a three-game winning streak. Utah doesn't have a back-to-back on the schedule until late November, so it may be difficult for fantasy players to pinpoint exactly when Vejmelka might get the nod, but he seems firmly cemented behind Ingram at this point as the No. 2 option for Utah.

Matias Maccelli - Offers helper Saturday Maccelli posted an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Rangers.
Impact Maccelli has two assists and four shots on net over three games this season. The 23-year-old winger has gotten a little lost in the shuffle as Utah integrates more prospects into the lineup, which has left him averaging just 12:15 of ice time per game. Maccelli's top trait is his playmaking, which has kept him on the second power-play unit, but that pass-first mentality doesn't work well in a fourth-line role.

Alexander Kerfoot - Registers helper Saturday Kerfoot logged an assist in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Rangers.
Impact Kerfoot has two helpers, five shots on net and a plus-3 rating over the first three games of the season. The 30-year-old forward continues to be a Swiss Army knife for Utah, often playing in a middle-six role but more than capable of moving around the lineup through in-game adjustments. In a similar role in 2023-24, he produced 13 goals, 45 points and a career-high 76 blocked shots. His offense is likely to be more limited this year since he's not receiving much power-play time.

Jack McBain - Scores goal before ejection McBain scored a goal, added two hits and logged 15 PIM in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Rangers.
Impact McBain put Utah ahead 2-1 early in the second period. He later fought Adam Edstrom, and both players were given game misconducts as part of a larger dust-up. Grit is McBain's best feature -- he's posted back-to-back 26-point campaigns while racking up a staggering 508 hits over 149 contests in that span.

Kevin Stenlund - Finds twine Saturday Stenlund scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Rangers.
Impact The goal was Stenlund's first point in three games with Utah. The center has added three shots on net, three blocked shots and two hits. He was signed to a two-year deal in July to fill a fourth-line role, though he's averaged 16:05 of ice time so far. Stenlund is unlikely to stand out on offense, but he could be a help in particularly deep fantasy formats that count hits, PIM and/or shorthanded points.

Dylan Guenther - Keeps rolling Saturday Guenther scored a power-play goal on three shots in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Rangers.
Impact That's now five goals over three games for Guenther, though he's yet to record an assist. He's done that on 11 shots on net -- obviously, he won't shoot 45.5 percent all season. The 21-year-old winger still looks to be a leading breakout player in 2024-25. He's seeing middle-six minutes and power-play time for a surprisingly potent Utah offense, so Guenther should be rostered in most fantasy formats.

Nick Schmaltz - Two more helpers Saturday Schmaltz picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Rangers.
Impact The 28-year-old winger has benefitted early from regular shifts alongside the red-hot Clayton Keller and Barrett Hayton. While Schmaltz is still looking for his first goal of 2024-25, he has four helpers in three games while his linemates have lit the lamp six times between them. Schmaltz also has a secure spot on Utah's top power-play unit, putting him in position to top the career-high 61 points (22 goals, 39 assists) he recorded in 2023-24.

Barrett Hayton - Two points in OT win Hayton recorded an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over the Rangers.
Impact The 24-year-old center opened the scoring early in the first period, taking a slick feed from Clayton Keller and snapping a shot past Igor Shesterkin from in close. Hayton has goals in all three of Utah's games to begin the season, racking up three tallies and five points in total, and the fifth overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft might finally be ready for a long-awaited breakout.
