Kevin Connauton - Waived for AHL demotionConnauton was put on waivers Monday for the purpose of reassignment to AHL Tucson.
ImpactConnauton collected three goals and 18 points across 61 regular-season contests with AHL Ontario in 2023-24. The 34-year-old defender has 28 goals and 80 points over 360 career NHL contests. Assuming he doesn't get claimed off waivers, he could be a call-up option for Utah in the 2024-25 campaign.

Miles Wood - Returns to actionWood (illness) was back in the lineup in Sunday's 6-3 preseason loss to Utah.
ImpactWood opened the scoring in the contest at the 13:12 mark of the first period during a Colorado power play. He accounted for nine goals and 26 points over 74 regular-season outings in 2023-24. Wood is expected to occupy a bottom-six role for the Avalanche again in 2024-25 but could move up the depth chart if Artturi Lehkonen (shoulder) is unavailable for the start of the year.

ImpactBradley spent the last three years at the University of Connecticut -- he had his most productive season in 2023-24, generating 22 points in 31 regular-season contests. The 22-year-old was a seventh-round selection by Detroit in the 2020 NHL Draft.

ImpactOlausson will now develop his game at the AHL level and be a key player for the Colorado Eagles. The 21-year-old was a first-round pick by the Avalanche in the 2021 NHL Draft, but he's only appeared in two games at the professional level. The Sweden native banked 20 points in 39 regular-season outings with AHL Colorado in 2023-24.

Jacob MacDonald - Assigned to AHLMacDonald was placed on waivers Sunday with the purpose of being reassigned to AHL Colorado's training camp.
ImpactMacDonald will start the season with AHL Colorado after signing a two-year contract with the organization in July. The 31-year-old spent the 2023-24 season with San Jose, registering nine points in 34 regular-season contests.
