Ian Cole - Deals helper Wednesday Cole managed an assist, five blocked shots and two PIM in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
Impact Cole snapped a nine-game point drought when he set up J.T. Miller's goal in the opening minute. The 35-year-old Cole has made few scoring contributions this year with nine points over 66 appearances. He's added 142 blocked shots, 70 hits, 57 PIM, 53 shots on net and a plus-12 rating while playing in a bottom-four role.

Conor Garland - Supplies assist in overtime loss Garland notched an assist, three shots on goal and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
Impact Garland remains warm on offense -- he has four points over his last five outings. The winger set up a Nikita Zadorov tally in the second period. Garland is up to 32 points, 149 shots on net and a plus-13 rating through 67 appearances. He's seen mainly third-line usage this season, offering decent depth scoring and little else in that role, making him a fringe option in fantasy.

Brock Boeser - Reaches 30-assist mark Boeser registered an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
Impact Boeser has three assists over his last four games, but he's gone five contests without a goal. The 27-year-old helped out on J.T. Miller's tally in the opening minute of the game. Boeser has 35 goals, 30 helpers, 180 shots on net and a plus-26 rating through 67 appearances this season, by far the best of his NHL career.

Impact Mikheyev snapped a goal drought that dated back to Dec. 19, a span of 34 contests in which he managed just nine assists. While he's managed to stay in the lineup through the slump, he has seen his ice time stay in line with that of a middle-six forward. He's up to 11 goals, 27 points, 125 shots on net, 34 hits and a plus-1 rating over 63 outings overall.

Nikita Zadorov - Gordie Howe hat trick Wednesday Zadorov scored a goal, dished an assist, doled out five hits and had a fight in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
Impact Zadorov got the Gordie Howe hat trick done in the first 25 minutes of the game. He assisted on a Ilya Mikheyev tally in the first period before scoring one of his own in the second. Less than a minute after his goal, Zadorov fought Josh Manson. With six points over his last 13 contests, Zadorov has been okay on offense. He's at 16 points, 68 shots on net, 140 hits, 55 blocked shots, 96 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 61 appearances between the Canucks and the Flames this season.

J.T. Miller - Sets career high in goals Miller scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and logged two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
Impact Miller's tally 24 seconds into the game was his 33rd goal this season, setting a new career high for the center. He's racked up nine tallies and eight assists over his last 11 outings to carry the torch on offense for the Canucks. Overall, he's at 87 points, 154 shots on net, 181 hits, 50 blocked shots and a plus-29 rating through 67 contests. He's got an outside chance at a 40-goal campaign, and he's on pace to top 100 points for the first time in his career.

Casey DeSmith - Can't maintain lead DeSmith stopped 30 of 34 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
Impact DeSmith was spotted a 3-0 lead early in the second period, but it slipped away over the final 35 minutes of regulation. A pinball goal in overtime completed the collapse for the Canucks. It's a concerning starting to DeSmith's temporary run as the No. 1 goalie with Thatcher Demko (knee) expected to miss at least two weeks. DeSmith is down to 8-4-6 with a 2.91 GAA and an .899 save percentage over 20 appearances. The Canucks will at least be at home for the rest of March, so travel won't be an issue. They host the Capitals on Saturday.
