Brock Boeser - Registers assist Boeser notched an assist in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken.

Impact Boeser helped out on a J.T. Miller tally in the first period. With four points over his last three games, Boeser has snapped out of a six-game slump and gotten back to racking up offense. He's already secured a career year with 31 goals, 58 points, 151 shots on net and a plus-23 rating over 59 outings while mainly playing on the second line.

Sam Lafferty - Tallies in loss Lafferty scored a goal in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken.

Impact The puck didn't take a very direct route in, bouncing off a Kraken defenseman and Lafferty following Pius Suter's shot. The tally was Lafferty's first since Jan. 13, a span of 12 games in which he logged just a single assist. The 28-year-old spent some time in the top six early in the year, but with the Canucks loading up for the playoffs, he's likely to remain on the fourth line when he plays going forward. Lafferty has 11 goals, 21 points, 54 shots on net, 106 hits and a plus-13 rating through 56 appearances.

J.T. Miller - Buries goal Thursday Miller scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken.

Impact Miller has five goals and an assist over his last three games. The 30-year-old has scored eight times over 10 contests in February while maintaining his spot as the Canucks' second-line center. Miller is up to 29 tallies, 76 points, 131 shots on net, 147 hits, 47 PIM, 44 blocked shots and a plus-26 rating through 59 appearances. He's in a good position to secure his first 100-point campaign.

Thatcher Demko - Loses in Seattle Demko allowed four goals on 30 shots in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Impact Demko took a third straight loss Thursday, and he's allowed 10 goals during the skid. The 28-year-old allowed three of the goals during the second period. Demko is down to 30-12-1 with a 2.48 GAA and a .917 save percentage through 43 appearances this season. He's still the Canucks' best option for winning games, so he'll likely get the nod at home versus the Bruins on Saturday.

He's lost his last two starts despite saving 24 of 26 shots in a tough-luck 3-1 defeat to Colorado on Tuesday. The Kraken rank 28th offensively with just 2.73 goals per game, so they should be a favorable adversary for Demko.

Impact Soucy was already on regular injured reserve, and he's already missed the 10 games and 24 days necessary for LTIR. The 29-year-old defenseman is not expected back until early March, but this move could free up the salary space for the Canucks to make some trades in the near future.

Impact The move can be retroactive to Feb. 13, so Joshua can be activated whenever he's healthy. He has 13 goals, 26 points, 46 PIM and 191 hits in 53 outings in 2023-24.
