Thatcher Demko - Tough night in Boston Demko made 21 saves in Thursday's 4-0 loss to the Bruins.
Impact Boston scored two shorthanded goals in the first period, giving Linus Ullmark all the support he would need in the other crease. Demko took his first loss in over a month, snapping a nine-start win streak, but it was perhaps overdue as the 28-year-old netminder has allowed four goals in three of his last five outings. Despite the recent stumbles, he still sports a 2.49 GAA and .920 save percentage in 12 starts since the calendar flipped to 2024.

Quinn Hughes - Two-point night in Carolina Hughes notched two power-play assists in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Hurricanes.
Impact Elias Lindholm made an immediate splash in his first game with Vancouver, tipping home Hughes point shots in the first and second periods. It's his third straight multi-point performance, extending his overall point streak to seven contests, and since the beginning of January the 24-year-old blueliner has racked up two goals and 17 points, including nine helpers on the power play. Hughes' 64 points (12 goals, 52 assists) leads all defensemen in the NHL, with only Cale Makar's 60 points coming close.

Brock Boeser - Two helpers in Tuesday's win Boeser picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Hurricanes.
Impact He helped set up the second of Elias Lindholm's two tallies late in the second period before his shot attempt early in the third trickled over to J.T. Miller for the game-winner. It was Boeser's third straight multi-point performance and sixth in the last 12 games, a stretch in which the 26-year-old has churned out six goals and 15 points. He's already set a new career high with 30 goals, and Boeser is just three points shy of a new career-high mark in that category as well.

Elias Lindholm - Lights lamp twice in Canucks debut Lindholm scored two power-play goals in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Hurricanes.
Impact In his Canucks debut following a Jan. 31 trade from the Flames, Lindholm made an immediate impact by tipping home Quinn Hughes shots in the first and second periods. Lindholm was already picking up his scoring pace for Calgary prior to being dealt, and in 14 games since the beginning of January he's collected three goals and 11 points. The 29-year-old looks like he'll be a fixture on the top power-play unit and in a top-six role for his new club.

Impact The 28-year-old netminder won his ninth straight start, with his last loss coming Jan. 4 in St. Louis. Since then, Demko has posted a 2.31 GAA and .925 save percentage. The hot streak is bolstering his Vezina case, and he's now tied with Alexandar Georgiev for the NHL lead in wins at 27, while Demko's 2.43 GAA and .920 save percentage on the season are also top-10 marks.
