Pius Suter - Suffers setback Head coach Rick Tocchet told Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 on Monday that Suter (lower body) suffered a setback about a week ago.
Impact As a result, Suter hasn't been able to resume skating yet. It's unclear at this time when he will be available to return to the lineup. The Canucks placed on Suter on injured reserve Friday. He has picked up four goals, 23 shots on net and nine hits in 15 appearances this season.

Andrei Kuzmenko - Will play Tuesday Kuzmenko will be back in the lineup Tuesday versus Anaheim after sitting out the past two games as a healthy scratch, Harman Dayal of The Athletic reports.
Impact Kuzmenko has chipped in just five assists and nine shots on goal in his past nine outings. He has accounted for three goals, 14 points and 28 shots on net over 10 appearances this season. Kuzmenko is projected to back alongside Elias Pettersson and Ilya Mikheyev in Tuesday's contest.

Quinn Hughes - Keeps streak alive with assist Hughes notched a power-play assist, five shots on goal and two hits in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
Impact Hughes earned his 25th assist of the season on Filip Hronek's first-period marker. The helper kept Hughes' point streak going at 11 games, a span in which he has four goals and 13 assists. He's notched a solitary apple in each of the last three contests to keep the streak going. Overall, the 24-year-old defenseman is up to 33 points (15 on the power play), 68 shots on net, 18 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-18 rating through 22 outings this season.

Elias Pettersson - Manages helper in loss Pettersson posted an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
Impact Pettersson helped out on a Brock Boeser goal late in the third period as the Canucks tried and failed to overcome a two-goal deficit. The helper snapped Pettersson's three-game point drought, but he hasn't posted a multi-point effort since Nov. 9. The 25-year-old center is up to eight goals, 21 assists, 51 shots on net, 28 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 22 contests this season.

J.T. Miller - Racks up three helpers in loss Miller notched three assists, including two on the power play, and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
Impact Miller had the primary assist on all three goals in this contest -- one from Filip Hronek and two more from Brock Boeser. The strong playmaking performance got Miller to the 20-assist mark for the season. He saw a nine-game point streak end in Friday's 5-1 win over the Kraken, but Miller is firmly among the best in the league this season. The 30-year-old forward has 33 points (15 on the power play), 50 shots on net, 44 hits, 17 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 22 appearances.

Impact Hronek's pair of points came on the power play, as he scored in the first period and reached the 20-assist mark by helping out on Brock Boeser's tally in the second. With a goal and four helpers over his last five games, Hronek continues to thrive in a significant role for the Canucks. The 26-year-old defenseman has two tallies, 22 points (eight on the power play), 48 shots on net, 27 blocked shots, 19 hits and a plus-13 rating through 22 appearances.

Brock Boeser - Two goals not enough Boeser scored twice on seven shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
Impact Boeser tied the game at 2-2 with a power-play marker late in the second period. He scored again when the Canucks pulled their goalie to attempt a comeback in the third, but the rally fell short. While the result was unpleasant for Vancouver, Boeser joined Nikita Kucherov atop the Rocket Richard race with 15 goals this season. Boeser has added nine helpers, 62 shots on net, 13 hits and a plus-8 rating through 22 contests. Prior to Saturday, he had just one assist across his last five outings.

Casey DeSmith - Takes another loss DeSmith surrendered four goals on 22 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks.
Impact DeSmith started the year fairly well, winning four of his first six outings, but he's now taken two straight losses. During his skid, he's allowed eight goals on 60 shots. The 32-year-old netminder is at 4-2-1 with a 3.06 GAA and a .907 save percentage through eight appearances. The Canucks don't have any back-to-back sets over the next week, so Thatcher Demko could get a run of uncontested playing time amid DeSmith's struggles.
