Impact Demko has been struggling of late, going 1-2-0 in his last three outings with a 4.00 GAA. The netminder's slump follows a six-game winning streak during which he posted a pair of shutouts. Interestingly, Demko's recent dip in form comes as he finds himself sharing every other start with Casey DeSmith over the last six games, so perhaps the coaching staff should stop rotating the duo and let Demko see the bulk of the workload.

Impact Hronek saw his 11-game point streak end Thursday versus the Flames, but it didn't take him long to get back on the scoresheet. The 26-year-old set up defense partner Quinn Hughes for a second-period marker. Hronek is at one goal, 17 helpers, 37 shots on net, 18 hits, 21 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 18 appearances to begin his first full campaign with the Canucks. He's on pace to shatter his career high of 39 points, which he set in 64 outings last season.

Impact Myers has found a groove with four helpers over his last four outings. He set up goals by J.T. Miller and Nils Hoglander in Saturday's narrow loss. While his ice time is down more than two minutes compared to 2022-23, he's done much better in a smaller role.

Impact Hoglander tallied in the final minute of the third period to provide some intrigue, but the Canucks didn't tie the game. He's scored in consecutive contests and has three of his five goals this year in November. Hoglander is up to seven points, 20 shots on net, 12 hits and a plus-7 rating through 16 appearances overall, though he's not safe from being a healthy scratch on occasion. Even when he plays, he's been limited to bottom-six minutes.

Impact Hughes' goal tied the game at 2-2 in the second period. The superstar blueliner has already matched his goal total from last year with seven tallies, putting him one shy of his career high. Impact Demko had some big saves, but the Canucks were uncharacteristically loose -- a bad line change, an odd deflection and a turnover led to three of the Kraken's goals. This was Demko's second loss over six appearances in November. He's now at 8-4-0 with a 2.22 GAA and a .926 save percentage. Casey DeSmith has seen more time of late thanks to back-to-backs, but the Canucks don't have games on consecutive days until Friday and Saturday in Seattle and San Jose, respectively.
