Juulsen's spot in the lineup is far from safe once Guillaume Brisebois (undisclosed) and Carson Soucy (undisclosed) are able to return to action. The 26-year-old Juulsen has never played more than 23 NHL games in a single season.

Impact Di Giuseppe was on the second line to begin the game and saw 16:00 of ice time. The 30-year-old has rarely been more than a bottom-six option in his career, but head coach Rick Tocchet has entrusted the forward with middle-six usage since taking over behind the Canucks' bench. Impact Kuzmenko helped out on the third of Brock Boeser's four goals in this game. While he was listed on the top line, Kuzmenko saw a middling 16:23 of ice time Wednesday. The 27-year-old winger impressed in his first NHL campaign with 39 goals and 74 points, but he shot 27.3 percent last year and will likely need to offset a drop in shooting percentage with an improvement in the playmaking department. As long as he's playing alongside an elite talent in Elias Pettersson, Kuzmenko should still have a high floor.

Impact Hronek helped out on two of Brock Boeser's four goals in the blowout win. Most importantly, Hronek was paired with Quinn Hughes on defense -- that's his best chance of producing enough offense to earn fantasy attention. The 25-year-old Hronek had a career year with 39 points in 64 contests last season, and while his power-play time figures to be limited in Vancouver, he should still be a well-rounded player. He won't excel in any one area, but he chips in enough non-scoring production to fill a depth role in fantasy.

Quinn Hughes - Collects three assists Hughes recorded three assists, three shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 8-1 win over the Oilers.
Impact Hughes logged two of his helpers on the power play. He had a hand in three straight goals between the second and third periods as the Canucks ran away with the game. The new captain is among the best defensemen in the league in terms of quarterbacking a power play. Hughes earned 34 of his 76 points on the power play last season, and he should continue to thrive in a large role in 2023-24.
