Akito Hirose - Re-signs with Vancouver Hirose signed a two-year, $1.575 million contract with Vancouver on Sunday, according to CapFriendly.
Impact Hirose recorded three assists, six hits and six blocked shots in seven appearances with the Canucks last season. He put up 27 points over 38 contests for Minnesota State University Mankato in 2022-23 prior to turning pro. The 24-year-old defender will probably start next season in the minors.

Impact Pearson underwent two hand surgeries last season, ending the season with five points across just 14 games. The 30-year-old winger will be looking to reestablish himself as a middle-six option for the Canucks. His career high in points in 45 in 69 appearances during the 2019-20 campaign.
