Casey DeSmith - In goal for Game 3 DeSmith will start Game 3 on the road versus the Predators on Friday, Robby Stanley of NHL.com reports.
Impact DeSmith is now the Canucks' top goalie since Thatcher Demko (undisclosed) is considered week-to-week. DeSmith struggled in Game 2 on Tuesday, allowing three goals on 15 shots in a 4-1 loss. The 32-year-old will need a bit more goal support from his team, as well as a better performance between the pipes, if the Canucks are going to regain a series lead.

Thatcher Demko - Is week-to-week Demko is regarded as week-to-week, coach Rick Tocchet told Thomas Drance of The Athletic on Wednesday.
Impact Demko was a key part of the Canucks' regular-season success, posting a 35-14-2 record, 2.45 GAA and .918 save percentage in 51 contests. He also stopped 20 of 22 shots en route to a 4-2 victory over the Predators in Game 1 on Sunday. The Canucks will likely lean on Casey DeSmith during Demko's absence.

Tyler Myers - Under the weather Myers was dealing with the flu, which caused him to miss Game 2 against the Predators on Tuesday, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports.
Impact Myers had been rolling offensively prior to falling ill, recording five points in his last six games, including a short-handed goal. Without Myers in the lineup, Noah Juulsen stepped onto the blue line and likely will continue to fill in for Myers if he remains unavailable for Game 3 on Friday.

Phillip Di Giuseppe - Offers helper in loss Di Giuseppe registered an assist and six hits in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Predators in Game 2.
Impact Di Giuseppe didn't play much down the stretch, but he's been in the lineup over Vasily Podkolzin and Nils Aman through two playoff contests. In 51 regular-season outings, Di Giuseppe registered 10 points, 52 shots on net, 36 PIM and 94 hits. He'll likely stay in a bottom-six role during the postseason, if he's able to maintain his place in the lineup.

Nikita Zadorov - Nets lone goal in Game 2 loss Zadorov scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and logged four hits in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Predators in Game 2.
Impact Zadorov had gone 12 games without a goal, picking up three assists in that span. The 29-year-old defenseman got the Canucks on the board in the second period, but they couldn't form a comeback. He's earned two points five shots on net, nine hits and three blocked shots over two playoff contests while playing in a bottom-four role.

Casey DeSmith - Takes loss Tuesday DeSmith allowed three goals on 15 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Predators in Game 2. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Impact Thatcher Demko (undisclosed) is out of action, so it's DeSmith's turn in the crease for the Canucks. His first outing was poor -- the Predators were opportunistic with their chances early on and successfully bunkered down in the third period to hold the lead. DeSmith was mediocre in the regular season with a 12-9-6 record, a 2.89 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 29 appearances. He'll need more help from the team in front of him as the series shifts to Nashville for Game 3 on Friday and Game 4 on Sunday.
