Impact Pietrangelo has two assists over his last four games, though he went six contests without a point prior to getting back on the scoresheet Dec. 28. His 39 points are the most he's had in a season since 2020-21, so he should be on track for a career year if he can avoid a serious injury in the second half.

Impact Kolesar missed one game with an illness, and he returned to a third-line role. The 26-year-old winger has two multi-point outings this season, both of which have come since the start of December. He's had mostly limited offense with eight points to go with 113 hits, 34 PIM and 33 shots on net through 37 outings. Kolesar's spot in the lineup should be safe with William Carrier (upper body) expected to miss some time.

The winger has a chance to carve out a regular role while William Karlsson (lower body) and William Carrier (upper body) are out. Overall, he's at 12-8-3 with a 2.83 GAA and a .903 save percentage through 24 contests. Adin Hill (undisclosed) is expected to return within a week, at which point the Golden Knights will likely resume alternating starts between him and Thompson.
