Impact McNabb is on a three-game point streak (one goal, two assists) after finding twine Sunday. The 32-year-old defenseman continues to play at the upper limit of his scoring abilities this year, racking up two goals, 11 points, 31 shots on net and a plus-13 rating through 29 appearances. He's added 36 hits and 92 blocked shots while remaining in his usual second-pairing role for Vegas. McNabb's current hot stretch is unlikely to last much longer given his low-offense playing style.

Impact Stephenson snapped a 20-game goal drought Saturday, and now he's found twine in consecutive games. He has four points over his last three outings on the heels of a six-game drought. Fantasy managers have likely been low on patience with Stephenson, who has come nowhere near the reliable 60-point pace he established over the last two campaigns. He's at 15 points, 30 shots on net, 17 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 25 appearances in 2023-24. A low shot rate isn't helping his cause much, but there's reason to be optimistic he can turn things around with his current warm stretch.

Jiri Patera - Grabs shootout win Patera stopped 35 of 39 shots in Sunday's 5-4 shootout win over the Sharks.
Impact Patera allowed a goal in the opening minute, and then blew a two-goal lead late in the third period. The 24-year-old still emerged with the win, stopping two shootout attempts to secure his first NHL victory of the season and the third of his career in as many starts. Patera will continue to hold down the backup role while Adin Hill (lower body) is out of action, but he may not play next week, as the Golden Knights don't have a back-to-back scheduled.

Cotter continues to be more of a bottom-six player by usage, though he can be an effective depth scorer in that role.

Impact Roy has a goal and six helpers over his last nine contests while also going plus-5 in that span. He helped out on a Zach Whitecloud tally in the first period and then scored a goal of his own in the second in this blowout win. Roy is up to 11 points, 38 shots on net, a plus-6 rating and 11 hits through 19 appearances this season. It's a similar pace to what he showed last year with 30 points across 65 games, though this is the second year in a row he's missed a significant chunk of time due to an injury.

Impact He put Vegas up 3-1 at 14:58 of the first with a snap shot on his own rebound. Stone has six points, including three goals, in his last six games, and 24 points (eight goals, 16 assists) in 28 games this season. The winger is producing at his standard pace, but his minus-3 rating is an oddity. The last time Stone was on the negative side of the ledger was 2015-16 (minus-4). We don't know if it means anything other than it being reflective of overall team scuffles through November. But it's a curiosity for a guy considered to be one of the NHL's best two-way forwards.

Zach Whitecloud - Three points in last two games Whitecloud scored and added an assist in a 6-1 win over Dallas.
Impact His goal stood as the winner. Whitecloud made it 2-0 at the 5:36 mark of the first period when his wrist shot from high in the left face-off circle when five-hole on Jake Oettinger. The defender had two shots, one hit and one blocked shot, and finished plus-3 in 21:00 of ice time. Whitecloud hasn't been known for offense, but his ice time and responsibility have gone up with both Shea Theodore (upper body) and Alec Martinez (lower body) out. And he has three points, including two goals, in his last two games. Short term, Whitecloud could help with a touch of scoring to go with his typical brute strength measures (hits and blocked shots).

Logan Thompson - Hardly tested in win Thompson made 19 saves in a 6-1 win over Dallas on Saturday.
Impact To be honest, Thompson was hardly tested Saturday. The only puck that got past him was a rebound by Evgenii Dadonov from below the left circle. The southpaw's season started with a 5-0-0 run before a 0-3-2 slump in November. Now, Thompson has won two straight games and is 3-0-1 with just seven goals allowed in his last four starts. It's a good time to have him in your net.

Impact He snapped a 20-game goal drought with a backhander from the slot at the 2:24 mark of the first. It put the Knights up 1-0 on the road, and they never looked back. Stephenson has a point (one goal, one assist) in each of his last two games after a one-assist-in-10-games slump. It's been a bit mystifying for fantasy managers -- Stephenson delivered 129 points over the last two regular seasons and another 20 in 22 playoff games last season. He was even in the discussion for the Conn Smythe Trophy before Jonathan Marchessault was named winner.
