Alex Limoges - Signs one-year deal Limoges inked a one-year, two-way contract with the Capitals on Thursday.

Impact Limoges will earn the NHL minimum $775,000 when on the Capitals roster, and will get $300,000 in the minors. Limoges has yet to play in the NHL. The 26-year-old had 24 goals and 51 points in 62 regular-season contests with AHL Hershey in 2023-24 and chipped in with four goals and nine helpers in 20 playoff games, helping the Bears win the Calder Cup championship. He will get an opportunity to crack the Washington lineup during training camp, but he will likely start the season in Hershey, barring a multitude of injuries.

Hardy Haman Aktell - Grabs one-year deal Haman-Aktell secured a one-year, two-way contract with Washington on Wednesday.

Impact Haman-Aktell saw action in six games for the Capitals last season in which he registered one assist, five shots and 11 hits while averaging 10:38 of ice time. The 25-year-old blueliner wasn't significantly more productive in the minors last year, recording a mere 11 points in 55 regular-season contests -- though he produced well in the playoffs with five goals and four helpers in 17 clashes.

Impact Raddysh became an unrestricted free agent after the Blackhawks declined to present him with a qualifying offer. The 26-year-old had five goals and 14 points across 73 contests with Chicago last season. Raddysh did have 20 goals and 37 points in 2022-23, so perhaps he can rekindle his scoring touch in his new home. At the same time, he'll likely have to fight to earn even a bottom-six spot.

Impact Roy had five goals, 25 points, a plus-21 rating, 42 PIM, 152 hits and 197 blocks in 81 regular-season games with LA in 2023-24. As you'd suspect given the size of Roy's contract, the 29-year-old will likely serve in a top-four capacity, but the Capitals do have significant depth on the blue line now between Roy, Jakob Chychrun, Martin Fehervary, Rasmus Sandin, John Carlson, Trevor van Riemsdyk and Ethan Bear. It will be interesting to see how the Capitals' defensive situation shakes out.
