Kyle Connor - Near top of NHL in goals Connor scored two goals and added one assist in a 6-3 win over the Rangers on Tuesday.
Impact He fired seven shots and finished plus-4. Connor had started the season on a 12-game, 19-point scoring streak (nine goals, 10 assist), but he hadn't picked up a point in three games. And he had gone five games without a goal. Now with 11 goals, Connor sits in a tie with several players for second in the NHL, just one behind league leader Cole Caufield (12). And with 62 shots in 16 games, Connor is on track to fire the puck on net 317 times, a total he delivered in 2021-22 when he sniped 47 goals. The man is quietly consistent, so 2024-25 could be a banner year for him.

Impact Considering Stanley isn't with the team on its three-game road trip and was already expected to miss the contests, his designation for IR shouldn't come as a surprise. Haydn Fleury will get the first crack at replacing Stanley in the lineup against the Rangers on Tuesday but Dylan Coghlan figures to be in the mix as well.

Kaapo Kahkonen - Claimed by Winnipeg Kahkonen was claimed off waivers by the Jets on Tuesday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Impact Kahkonen is back with the Jets after being waived by the club on Oct. 10. He made one start with Colorado, allowing four goals in a 5-2 loss to the Lightning on Oct. 30. It remains to be seen whether Kahkonen will remain with the big club or be sent to AHL Manitoba.

Logan Stanley - Not traveling with team Stanley (undisclosed) isn't with Winnipeg on its three-game road trip that starts in New York on Tuesday, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.
Impact Stanley is contending with a "mid-body" injury, according to head coach Scott Arniel. If Stanley is unable to join the Jets on their road trip, his next chance to suit up will come at home versus the Panthers on Nov. 19. Haydn Fleury will likely draw back into the lineup while Stanley is sidelined.

Connor Hellebuyck - Preparing to start in New York Hellebuyck will be in the blue paint for Tuesday's road showdown with the Rangers, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.
Impact Hellebuyck will attempt to win his sixth game in a row against a Rangers club that's scored 49 goals through 13 games. The 31-year-old has been otherworldly this season, and he's allowed just one goal combined on 89 shots across his last three wins, two of which have come as shutouts. It's early in the campaign, but Hellebuyck is the clear early favorite to win the Vezina trophy -- the Michigan native is 11-1-0 with a .935 save percentage and a 1.83 GAA through 12 appearances.

Ville Heinola - Could be nearing return Heinola (ankle) was on the ice in a regular jersey at Tuesday's morning skate, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site relays.
Impact Heinola has been sidelined since undergoing ankle surgery in September. The Finnish blueliner resumed skating at the end of October, and he appears to be close to making his 2024-25 debut. The 23-year-old was a first-round pick by Winnipeg in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Once healthy, Heinola will likely have to compete with Logan Stanley and Dylan Coghlan for playing time on the league's best team.

Impact Pionk's hot October has given way to a quieter November -- he has two helpers over his last five games. That was likely to happen anyway, as the 29-year-old is a solid scorer but certainly not a point-per-game threat. He has three goals, 11 assists, 33 shots on net, 27 blocked shots, 20 hits and a plus-10 rating through 15 outings overall. Pionk should continue to offer strong non-scoring production even if his offense fades further.

Rasmus Kupari - Finds twine Saturday Kupari scored a goal in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Stars.
Impact The goal was Kupari's first scoring contribution since his tally Opening Night versus the Oilers. The 24-year-old has played regularly in a fourth-line role, but he's had trouble getting involved in the offense while averaging 10:04 of ice time per game. The Finn has two goals, 19 shots on net, 10 hits and a minus-3 rating across 14 appearances, and he could eventually lose his place in the lineup to David Gustafsson.

Impact Ehlers had been held off the scoresheet in the previous two games, though he opened November with six points over two contests. The 28-year-old winger is up to nine tallies, 18 points (five on the power play), 42 shots on net and a plus-12 rating through 15 outings overall. The Jets are off to a record-breaking start at 14-1-0, and it's come with contributions throughout the lineup, including an excellent showing from Ehlers on the second line.
