Laurent Brossoit - Slated to start Wednesday Brossoit is set to guard the crease against the Devils on the road Thursday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Impact Brossoit is riding a five-game winning streak during which he posted a 1.40 GAA, .948 save percentage and two shutouts. With their No. 2 option rolling, it seems the Jets are willing to give the 30-year-old netminder some extra looks, as he figures to get one of the upcoming back-to-back against the Islanders and Capitals on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Even then, Brossoit won't be taking the starting job away from Connor Hellebuyck any time soon.

Neal Pionk - Dealing with illness Pionk missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness, per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press. He's questionable for Thursday's game versus New Jersey.
Impact Pionk has five goals, 25 points, 53 PIM and 187 hits in 68 outings in 2023-24. If he can't play Thursday, then Colin Miller, who spent the past three games as a healthy scratch, might serve on the second pairing alongside Brenden Dillon.

Sean Monahan - Two helpers Tuesday Monahan collected two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Rangers.
Impact It's the second straight two-assist game for Monahan. The 29-year-old center has been a big addition to the Jets, and over his last 16 contests he's delivered eight goals and 15 points. Monahan's 50 points on the season are his highest total since the career-high 82 he churned out for the Flames in 2018-19.

Mark Scheifele - Seventh career hat trick Tuesday Scheifele scored three goals including the game-winner in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Rangers.
Impact The 31-year-old center lit the lamp twice in the second period before completing his seventh career hat trick with an empty-netter in the third. Scheifele hadn't had a multi-goal performance since Jan. 7, but he's poised to finish the regular season on a heater, piling up six goals and 15 points over the last 12 games. He's also set a new franchise record with nine straight 20-goal campaigns -- although Dale Hawerchuk also accomplished that feat for the prior incarnation of the Jets, who are now the Arizona Coyotes.

Connor Hellebuyck - Nabs win on Broadway Hellebuyck stopped 38 shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Rangers.
Impact The 30-year-old netminder has looked a little gassed at times this month, but Hellebuyck was sharp Tuesday as he picked up his 32nd win of the season. Through seven starts in March he's gone 4-3-0 with a 2.74 GAA and .917 save percentage, but he remains the favorite to take home the Vezina Trophy, sitting first in the NHL in both GAA (2.30) and save percentage (.923) on the season.
